Our client''s customer service representatives play a critical role in retaining their valued customers through quality support and excellent service.

  • Full time 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., M-F (Occasional weekend email support)

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via telephone, email and chat
  • Respond to customer inquiries concerning orders, refunds, and products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical support issues
  • Assist with tracking and trend monitoring
  • Attempt to retain customers through value building
  • Maintain customer records of related activities and orders
  • Maintain basic knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures
  • Assist in answering basic questions regarding family history research
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve products and services

 

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and technical assistance
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, listening)
  • Strong ability to accurately identify and troubleshoot customer questions and concerns
  • Ability to multi-task at a computer while interacting with a customer
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • Positive, upbeat attitude
  • Excellent typing skills (30 WPM minimum)
  • Team mentality balanced by the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of PC operations, Windows-based applications and internet applications
  • *Knowledge or study of family history research highly preferred.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years customer service or related work experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with customer service within a call center highly preferred
