The Reporting Claims Data Analyst is responsible for performing comprehensive research and identifying claim payment abnormalities within United Payment Integrity.    The Reporting Claims Data Analyst will investigate, research, analyze claims data, and apply knowledge of medical policy to determine details claim payment inaccuracies and identify permanent solutions. Determine root cause/solutions for Payment Integrity Operations.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and interpret each segment’s needs and requirements
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Solve complex problems and/or conduct complex analysis
Work with minimal guidance; seek guidance on only the most complex tasks
Translate concepts into practice
Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues
 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


4+ years experience in claims processing

Strong computer skills (Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required pivot tables, lookup statements)

Ability to identify and understand the data needs of a growing organization

Structure and prepare analysis to support and lead decision making

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multiple departments and management

Ability to prioritize time

Work on multiple tasks with ongoing deadlines

Experience with claims processing systems such as UNET, COSMOS, Facets, Diamond, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:


Commercial and/or Medicare audit experience
