POSITION PURPOSE
The mission of the QuoteCenter product team is to radically re-imagine the shopping experience at Home Depot utilizing the latest data tools and web technologies. We are searching for a Vendor Operations Analyst who is passionate about creating a great experience for Home Depot associates and supplier partners through the HDQC vendor portal and marketplace. The Vendor Operations Analyst is responsible for building and managing relationships with vendors, negotiating accurate and complete cost, assortment, and lead time, analyzing data to perform root cause analysis and resolution of special order sourcing issues, analyzing and actioning vendor data quality reports, and training vendors on changes to the HDQC tools. The Vendor Operations Analyst will also work closely with the Product Management, Development, and Support functions to identify and prioritize improvements to the HDQC vendor portal tools.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
30% - Onboard new vendors to the HDQC marketplace by setting up profiles and training vendor representatives on HDQC functionality, best practices, and performance standards
20% - Manage and report on issue resolution SLA performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement
20% - Create and maintain vendor training and support material including documentation and webinars
15% - Identify and prioritize improvements to HDQC vendor portal tools
15% - Resolve vendor-related issues escalated from the user support team through root cause analysis, negotiation with vendors, and partnering with HDQC development and support teams

NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to Manager.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

? 2-4 years of vendor relations, call center or customer service experience
? Recent experience in a relevant vendor / merchandising analyst type role
? Proven ability to develop vendor relationships
? Vendor management experience strongly preferred
? Proven ability to analyze vendor reporting to drive action in supporting growth of established performance metrics
? Proven ability to identify, analyze and communicate unforeseen business requirements; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:?
Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to interact at a high level with end users and stakeholders; ability to negotiate and persuade
? Ability to analyze and summarize data to produce recommendations
? Analytical experience including root cause analysis
? Ability to work with cross functional teams, analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills
? Understanding of retail and merchandising concepts
