PrideStaff is currently seeking an ambitious and hard-working INDUSTRIAL SPRAY PAINTER to work in an established, employee-friendly, manufacturer in Fenton, MO.
* Auto painters
* Industrial painters (components, motors)
JOB DESCRIPTION: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
- Verify part cleanliness and prepare or clean surfaces as required prior to organic coating. (i.e. cleaning, sanding, etc)
- Mix paint in accordance with manufacturer instructions and customer requirements.
- Inspect and test materials as necessary prior to application
- Assess part configuration to identify appropriate racking method
- Apply organic coatings such as prime, paint, dry film lube and fuel tank to customer parts
- Perform inspection and testing as needed to verify part compliance to contract requirements.
- Maintain all paint records including but not limited to: Mix logs, VOC reports, and WO record
- Perform and document any rework operations when applicable
- Remove completed product from racks using good handling practices.
- Remove masking from parts as applicable
- Perform and record drying or curing in accordance with work instructions.
- Package and protect parts for shipment.
- Maintain traceability of hardware during processing and shipment thru tags, labels, work order completion, etc.
- Perform receiving and in-process inspections to ensure part acceptability prior to processing and between operations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of one (1) year of painting experience required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple equations
- Ability to count and accurately determine quantity
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
