The Provider Operations Data Consultant is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Provider Data Operations Consultants develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:


Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues

Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions

Perform complex conceptual analyses

Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement

Forecast and plan resource requirements

Authorize deviations from standards

May lead functional or segment teams or projects

Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues

Motivate and inspire other team members

Strong emphasis will include strategic management of national provider data quality initiatives, practical analysis of provider quality data, cross-functional collaboration, project reporting and presentation of data to various levels of management

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


1+ years of provider or claims data analysis experience

1+ years of experience managing programs or projects across cross functional teams

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Experience manipulating large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:


Knowledge of policy / procedure updates, process improvement, business requirement documentation, compliance

Working knowledge of Cosmos, Facets, and/or NDB
