Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Allied Universal is seeking an Organizational Effectiveness Manager to lead the development, deployment, and execution of robust coaching, training and enablement programs designed to drive company-wide, branch office, and individual success. The position involves in-person visits to company branch offices around the country (80% travel), detailed assessments of in-branch and in-the-field operational performance, intensive discussions and reviews of current processes with branch office staff, a clever and determined approach to solutions, action planning and target setting with branch office and regional leadership teams, and follow-ups to reinforce the implementation of best practices.

Primary responsibilities for the Manager include:
  • Responsible for the operational best practices training and enablement of branch and regional leadership teams
  • Lead the successful execution of exhaustive in-branch operational improvement sessions
  • Thoroughly review branch performance, evaluating processes, and proposing solutions
  • Engage in the analysis, development, and tracking of improvement session actions and results
  • Responsible for spearheading, developing, and deploying additional operational excellence initiatives as needed
  • Travel to client locations and branch offices to provide operational support
  • Provide operations subject matter expertise to the Training and Development team
  • Responsible for the support of business growth efforts through new business presentations, transition support and client retention activities
  • Manage, develop and create content for training programs in support of company initiatives, large prospects and all company operators
  • Consult with senior leadership on the coaching and development of field personnel with identified performance gaps
  • Meet monthly, quarterly and/or yearly objectives as set by the VP/ Training and Development
  • Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, with distinction preferred, in any business-related or quantitative field:
  • Optimistic, high-energy, and enthusiastic
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems and adapt to ongoing challenges
  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams and their leaders
  • Meticulous attention to detail in evaluating and recommending changes to current processes
  • Ability to connect and engage with all teams at all levels and treat everyone as equal
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong financial aptitude
  • General business experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working effectively with large teams strongly preferred
  • Experience facilitating and/or leading training programs strongly preferred
  • Proven and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Internal candidates must have fluency in Allied Universal systems
