CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Location: GREENSBORO, NC

As a Property Manager, you aim to provide superior customer service and a positive and welcoming experience to all customers. You enjoy providing solutions to customers and selling products and services. You love interacting with people and the retail side of the business but not in the early morning or late evening hours. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Excellent Customer Service

• Provide outstanding customer service; recommend storage solutions and assist customers with their storage needs
• Welcome customers and assist them with their move-in. Review terms of the rental agreement and set expectations for their storage experience.
• Take pride in the appearance of your property; maintain a clean and debris-free location for a great customer experience
• Consult with customers and sell Public Storage packing and moving supplies

Day-to-Day Business

• Work independently or with another Property Manager at multiple locations
• Conduct daily physical storage unit inspection; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent
• Make customer calls regarding their account, collections and other items; document notes on the computer system
• Train and work with District Managers and strive to exceed company goals and expectations
• Manage, audit, balance cash drawer; prepare and make daily deposits

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR YOUR SUCCESS:

• Successful candidates come from a variety of customer-centered, selling environments including retail, restaurant, fast food and more
• Minimum one year of customer service and/or sales experience
• Energetic and outgoing customer oriented personality
• Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills
• Valid and current driver's license with reliable personal transportation used during the work day
• Can work from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Work independently or with a team at multiple locations
• Proficient in Windows-based computer programs and data entry such as account notations and balancing daily transactions
• Perform cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, picking up trash and wiping windows
