As an Alpha Training Coach with Life Time Training, you will assist our members by educating, delivering, and connecting them to our industry leading strategy of the Core 3. The power of Core 3 is our unmatched ability to address all areas of our members' health and fitness needs to achieve optimal results. You will teach "individualized" Alpha Training classes, provide one-on-one coaching and metabolic assessments. You will also promote & sell Alpha Training programs, services, and products to our members!

As a team member of the Life Time Training division, you are able to advance your career in the fitness industry by providing your expertise and gaining experience in the following areas:

KNOW IT- Comprehensive Assessments

Education, testing, and technology to help our members' know how their unique bodies work.

(Examples: Lab Testing, Metabolic Assessments, Devices, Activity Monitors, myHealthScore)

NOURISH IT- Personalized Nutrition and Lifestyle

Professional advice, products and strategies to fuel and enrich our members' healthy way of life.

(Examples: Nutrition Coaching, Nutritional Products, Supplements, Registered Dietitians)

MOVE IT- Customized Workouts

Activities, events, and programs to keep our members' engaged in healthy and entertaining ways.

(Examples: Private Training, Weight Loss, Metabolic Coaching, TEAM Classes, Pilates)

Duties & Responsibilities

Member Experience

* Develop safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive Alpha Training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with the Alpha program

* Monitor and instruct clients during Alpha Training sessions on the safe and effective use of all Alpha Training equipment

* Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trend

* Provides excellent customer service to new and existing members

* Builds a positive relationship with Life Time members and increases awareness within the local community

* Conducts one-on-one Alpha coaching and training sessions

* Performs movement and metabolic assessments

* Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members

* Educates members on how the Alpha program can help them achieve their fitness goals

Sales & Promotion

* Promotes and sells Alpha Training by effectively explaining and marketing program benefits

* Highlights Alpha programs, products, and services, that are valuable to the prospective member

* Articulates extensive knowledge of Alpha products, services, policies and procedures to prospective and current members when answering questions and promoting the club

* Schedules appointments with prospective members to tour and promote the Alpha Program

* Contacts past Alpha members and referrals to increase lead generation

* Recruits new members through phones and outbound calling

Education & Experience

* High School diploma or GED

* College degree in business, sales & marketing, exercise science/kinesiology or related field preferred

* Two years as a certified Personal Trainer/Coach

* Competitive background in the sport of fitness preferred

Licenses / Certifications/ Registrations

* Certified Personal Trainer (Minimum of One Certification):

oACE, ACTION, AAPTE, ACSM, CSCCa, Cooper Institute, NASM, NCSF, NCCPT, NESTA, NETA, NFPT, NSCA, PTA Global, LT Academy, Crossfit, USAW

* CPR/AED Certification within 6 months of hire

* Obtain Alpha Training Certification

oMust achieve within 90-Days if an external hire

* Crossfit or USAW Certification Preferred
