Maintenance Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Our customer in Wadsworth, Ohio is looking for a Maintenance Technician. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!

Hours: 8 AM to 4 PM, M-F

Duties/Responsibilities/knowledge/Skills:

• Maintain and repair conveyor belt systems
  
• Welding, brazing
  
• Blueprints & schematics
  
• Troubleshooting & repair
  
• Cutting, threading, installation & welding of black iron pipe
  
• Fabricating
  
• Plumbing
  
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics
  
• Forklift
  
• Electrical schematics
  
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems
  
• Voltages & types of AC & DC electrical systems up to 480AC
  
• Removal of old electrical systems, conduit & wiring
  
• Electrical measurement devices
  
• PLC's
  
• Furnaces - troubleshooting and problem analysis
  
• Microsoft Access Database software- good computer skills
  
• Enter work orders in database
  
• Quote requests to be sent to vendors
  
• Interact with vendors
  
• Reconcile inventory
  
• Understand and follow safety practices
  
• Coordination of maintenance priorities & schedules
  
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and emergency breakdowns
  
• Documentation of daily maintenance activity
  
• Available for "on-call" when needed, does not happen often
  
• problem solving
  
• General housekeeping
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
  
• 2-5 years experience maintaining industrial sized equipment/machines
  
• Ability to communicate with everyone - team environment
  
• Attend training sessions
  
• Electrical abilities
  
• Mechanical abilities
  
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  
• Good math skills
  
• Organized
  
• Must be able to read tape measure and all other related measurement tools
  
• Use of and reading voltage ohm meter or millimeter
  
• Must have own tools
• Self starter
  

Will be tested: Mechanical and electrical, forklift
