Team Lead - Equipment Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Duties include:
• Directs day-to-day work of employees, including daily management update with Management.
• Attend Company training classes as required for position.
• Attend required Village Operational meetings as scheduled.
• Assist in purchasing at local vendors, work with Supervisor in researching equipment acquisitions.
• Responsible for accurately recording work time sheets to ensure proper allocation/ recording of all
equipment, material and personnel time costs.
• Operate a variety of equipment, trucks and tractors for the purpose of street and utility repair,
maintenance, snow removal and construction of facilities.
• Able to weld, wire feed, stick and aluminum applications.
• Perform un-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled labor in support of normal work activities such a shovels,
rakes, jackhammers, power tools, mowers and weed whips etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on all equipment used e.g. checking fluids,
functional components, cleaning, tire changing , plow maintenance, broom/brush replacement etc.
• Pick up and deliver a variety of materials such as topsoil, road base, water and other building materials.
• Replace light bulbs in street lamps, paint lamps and street signs, perform routine traffic control, to
facilitate safe traffic flow.
• Perform landscape maintenance activities such as watering, stake removal/installation, and pruning.
• Enforces policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required and may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
•  At least 3 years operational experience and Resort knowledge.
• A minimum of 3 years experience operating vehicles and equipment listed.
• Minimum of 3-5 years Supervisory experience
• A minimum of class A CDL. with Tanker Endorsement, Motor Grader, Loader, Forklift, Backhoe, Aerial Lift, Back Hoe, OSHA, Traffic Control, First Aid & AED Certifications.
• Basic Knowledge, Microsoft Work and Excel
•  Fluent in English
• Must be able to understand, interpret, formulate and communicate written and verbal instructions and plans to employees and other departments. Must possess basic mechanical skills, which enable diagnostic review/assessment of all vehicles operated.
