Armed Security Officer - Full-time / Part-time

Whelan Security is seeking armed security professionals to join our world-class security team in Arizona. We are looking for intelligent, courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have completed a Law Enforcement Applicant Inventory (LEAI) or similar assessment for armed personnel and possess prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience. Previous contract services, hospitality, or safety related experience is also desirable. Candidates may be required to prove firearm proficiency through a live range qualification and must possess an AZ DPS armed security guard license (or be able to obtain this license).

Education

Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
