Physical Therapist - PT - Full-time

JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist (PT) is a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy and is licensed by the state of Mississippi. He/she administers skilled care to patients requiring physical therapy services and teaches the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Training/ Experience:

Be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy and licensed in the state of Mississippi. Both prior clinical and Medicare home health experience are preferred.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Possess automobile liability insurance.
• Wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess and maintain an active unrestricted professional license in the state of Mississippi.
• Be able to exercise independent professional judgment regarding assessment by patient needs, recommendations to physicians regarding plans of care and evaluating patient’s ability and progress to meet goals established in the plan of care.
