Hours: Seasonal Full-Time M-F
General Summary: The Camp Coordinator directs the activities of the Blast! Camp to provide entertainment, amusement, instruction and care for campers. Hire and train qualified camp counselors. Prepare and provide counselors and campers with a weekly schedule of activities. Confer with parents regarding facility, activities, policies and payment procedures. Coordinate off-site field trip activities and transportation. Market camp programs to drive participation levels and meet or exceed budget guidelines.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Course work completed or degree in education or related field preferred. Previous experience in children’s programs development and working with children in groups ages 4 – 14 is a must. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Good communication and organizational skills are very important. CPR certification. Applicants should be dynamic and energetic individuals capable of providing an atmosphere for children, ages 4 -14, which promotes fun, cooperation, good sportsmanship and lifelong fitness.
