About this job

Outgoing personality is required. Must have the ability to relationally connect with peers, staff, and customers. 

Ability to coach and mentor staff  in order to achieve and maintain operational performance.

At least 2 years of leadership experience required.

Position reports directly to General Manager / Owner.

General Responsibilities

  1. Ensure aggressive execution of Biggby operational systems
  2. Ensure Daily Timeline tasks are being consistently executed
  3. Staff training using the New Barista Training Program (as assigned)
  4. Problem solving (customer issues, staff relations, drink making consistency, …)
  5. Ensure safe environment per health department instruction
  6. Oversee Shift leaders, Senior Baristas, and Baristas
  7. Manage Cash Deposits and Change Boxes
  8. Manage product ordering and receiving; get product from other places when shortages happen (example – Milk from Kroger)
  9. Month End Inventory
  10. Monthly and weekly maintenance checklists
  11. Promotion Period Rollouts (every two months or promotional period; barista quizzes)
  12. Manage technology issues (rebooting the communication and computer equipment; use the BIGGBY Support Ticket system)
