Job Description

As an Army National Guard Military Intelligence (MI) Systems Maintainer/Integrator, you play a vital role in the collection and interpretation of military intelligence information gathering so that our military experts can better plan our Nation's defense.

The MI Systems Maintainer/Integrator maintains and integrates intelligence gathering systems, computers, and networks used by MI Soldiers. Specific duties as an MI Systems Maintainer/Integrator may include: maintaining, testing, and repairing communications equipment; maintaining and integrating MI computers and networks; assessing and extracting data from fixed, portable, and wireless storage/communication devices; and performing operational checks on MI aerial platforms, sensors, and systems.

The skills you learn as an MI Systems Maintainer/Integrator will prepare you for a future with civilian companies that design and make electronic equipment, computers, and manage computer networks. Through your extensive Army training and experience, and some additional study, you may be able to qualify for the Electronics Technician Association (ETA) certification.

Job training for an MI Systems Maintainer/Integrator requires 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 44 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, which includes practice with equipment.

Requires military enlistment. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.

  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards

Most non-prior service candidates will earn between $196.26 and $254.91 per drill weekend.Programs and benefits are subject to change.
