The Rehabilitation Services Department at St. Rose Dominican Hospital's three campus system provides inpatient and outpatient services emphasizing individualized plans of care. Hospital based practice in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language-Pathology is provided in acute care and specialized units/programs.

We are Joint Commission certified in Joint Replacement and Stroke Care. Some of our Rehab programs are campus specific. As a Rehab Department, we provide care in a 28 bed Inpatient Rehab Facility, Hand Therapy in an OP satellite clinic, NICU level II & III developmental care, Headache, Spine, Wound care, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, General Rehabilitation and Workman's Compensation. Job Summary

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients at the hospital and satellite clinic(s) per care plan toward goals, as well as the supervision of staff as assigned by the Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services.

This person must implement the spirit and philosophy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters and will ensure that the rights of the patient and/or family are safeguarded (by observation and documentation).

Experience

Entry level accepted. 1 year of hospital based, acute care practice.

Education

Graduated from an accredited school of Physical Therapy. Completed post graduate education, or posesses certification or CEU's in Acute care, geriatrics, wound care, orthopaedics, pediatrics, NICU & neurology or any other clinically relevant coursework/seminars.

Special Skills

Ability to communicate effectively utilizing computer, verbally and in writing in English. Ability to perfom basic functions of Microsoft Office. Advanced experience with computer software programs and clinical documentation in Hospital based practice. Multi-lingual, Spanish, Tagalog.

Licensure:

Licensed Physical Therapist in State of NV. Basic Life Support CPR.
