Evening Mail Processing, Sorting, Packing

Staffmark is looking for exceptional team players to work in San Leandro with one of our premier customers. We have evening positions available for Mail Processing, Sorting, and Packing. Work schedules vary and flexibility is a must!
Staffmark is looking for team players who have experience in a mail services, packaging, or warehouse facility.
Qualifications include the following:
- Mail Sorting
- RF Scanning of Mail packages
- Properly labelling packages
- Packing mail in boxes or bags and labelling boxes or bags for shipment
- Stacking and/or palletizing boxes or bags and wrapping with shrink wrap as needed for shipment
- Data entry (alpha-numeric)
- Quality inspection of mail and postal labels
- Meet daily production goals
- Assist on other jobs as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Dependable with a commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Safety oriented
- Prior experience in a fast paced warehouse or production work environment
- Flexible with work duties as well as work schedules
- Availability to work late evening until early morning (including some weekends)
- Proficient in alpha-numeric data entry
- Attention to detail of mail processing, sorting, and packing procedures
- Team player
- Goal oriented
- Please leave negative attitudes at home
Shift times may vary; typical start time:
- Sunday: 6 pm; Mon, 5 pm & 6 pm, Tue thu Fri 6 pm & 7:30 pm
- Schedules are confirmed daily and some weekend shifts are required for a full time schedule
- Hours range from 6-8 hours a day with possiblity of OT. We work until the work is done!
