Overview

The IT Services Coordinator primary role is to coordinate and execute technology equipment deployments and installations. The IT Services Coordinator participates in the planning, execution, and facilitation of IT initiatives, New Restaurant Opening (NRO) IT installations, and other projects as assigned.    

Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination: Coordinates IT System installations, applications and processes, including working with internal/outside vendors to ensure that delivery and execution of the solution is delivered timely, accurately, and within budget. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
2. Purchasing: Creates Purchase orders for equipment against project schedules. Reviews, places and tracks purchase order requests, order placements, shipping, including 3rd party vendor equipment and services.
3. Execution of IT System Rollouts: Creates schedules, and executes IT system rollout plans. Works independently and with internal/external partners to facilitate the rollout and training programs to ensure knowledge transfer and knowledge retention of IT solutions. Performs technical support and training aspects of IT system rollouts. Serves as a conduit from the IT Development, IT Support and Operations teams.
4. New Restaurant Openings: Coordinates the IT new restaurant opening actives: Stages IT equipment, coordinates services and support processes, final configurations, installation validation, and support transition.
5. Communication: Proactively communicate, track performance and milestone metrics to IT crewmembers and IT leadership; this includes bidirectional communications to the various functional departments in regards to supporting projects, process changes, issues and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2-year Technical degree or comparable experience required; 4-year degree preferred
• Previous Help Desk experience preferred
• Previous mid-large scale I.T. Project Management experience; two or more years
• Knowledge of Microsoft environment from an Administrative level
• Knowledge of restaurant POS, camera, and drive thru systems
• Knowledge of Micros POS system at an administrative level preferred
• Experience with staging and deploying hardware
• Experience with managing 3rd party vendors
