Position Summary:

Utilize and demonstrate accounting best practices. Work with warehouses on inventory balances and costing.

Essential Job Functions:

Ÿ Monitor and balance warehouse inventory accounts and other related general ledger accounts.

Ÿ Balance warehouse sales to stores.

Ÿ Monitor physical warehouse adjustment and cost adjustment reports

Ÿ Audit, reconcile, and coordinate warehouse corrections to weekly inventory reports

Ÿ Review all General Ledger accounts and provide assistance in areas of opportunity.

Minimum Position/Education Qualifications:

• Experience in balancing ledger accounts/journal entries.
• Understanding of Kroger payment process
• Business Objects experience -ability to manipulate existing reports required, ability to create reports from scratch is a plus
• Have some knowledge of Warehouse Inventory Control Procedures
• Demonstrated sound business judgment and the ability to work successfully with all levels of associates, backgrounds, and perspectives.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
• Ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive and following up to ensure completion.
