The Medical Report Technician will receive and pre generate addenda requests on prior submitted exams.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Scan received Addendum Request 2507
Screen Addendum Request for duplicate request, non - MSLA request, active / non - active provider
Identify affected DBQ Exam
Identify type of request if Medical Opinion, Report Clarification, Medical Record Review, Diagnostic Testing (Billable/Non-Billable)
Upload scanned Addendum Request 2507
Pre - Generate Report in CMS
Date entry of General and Specific Instructions into pre-generated report
Determine need for additional evidence for review
If additional evidence required, download from VA website (VBMS, Virtual VA), sort and upload into CMS
Update Post - QA Addendum Log

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:

Post - Secondary Education/Training - Anatomy & Physiology recommended
6+ months  Medical Records, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance
Microsoft Excel Proficiency
