Pharmacy Technician - Davie, FL - Full-time / Part-time

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for answering incoming calls / completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.Primary Responsibilities:


Stocking and restocking inventory
Cleaning in a USP797 clean room
Compounding and mixing medication per USP797 guidelines
Fill prescriptions not requiring mixing
Labeling and organizing patient specific documentation
Work with the pharmacist to achieve customer expected delivery times
Work together as a team to coordinate patient care
Processing prescriptions (from intake to order completion) 
Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record 
IV admixture experience required

Required Qualifications:


HS Diploma / GED or higher
Clear and Active State of Florida Pharmacy Tech License
Current PTCB National Certification
1+ years of customer service experience within a Pharmacy
1+ years of hospital IV or home infusion IV compounding experience
Preferred Qualifications:


Knowledge of  USP797
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application 
Experience with CPR+ Software
Bilingual in English / Spanish
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:


Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor
Standing on feet for 8 hour shifts
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
