Flows goods to the sales floor following the principles of Merchandise Presentation Standards.
Ensures the creation and maintenance of current, fresh, and fashionable features.
• Ensures all fixtures are properly signed.
• Ensures the quick and efficient flow of goods into the departments.
• With Management, establishes merchandising plans and priorities for assigned departments and classifications.
• Provides prompt, knowledgeable customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Provides training to all Associates on merchandise/presentation standards, flow, recovery and merchandising principles.
• Processes cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, according to established policy and procedure.
• Approves returns following the proper policy and procedure.
• Assists in resolving rewraps and no-ticket merchandise.
• Maintains cleanliness, recovery and organizational standards throughout the store.
• Approves markdowns within approval authority and according to policy and procedure.
• Communicates all shrink/damage reduction related ideas and concerns to Management and Loss Prevention. Attends store shrink meetings.
• Reports to Store Management any type of safety hazard in the store.
• Other duties as assigned.
