Floral Design Specialist

The Floral Designer is enthusiastic and passionate about Creativity, People and Arts and Crafts. The Floral Designer is responsible for generating sales and achieving production goals by designing professional, top quality, creative floral arrangements and custom arrangements upon requests from customers. This position requires exceptional product knowledge, demonstrations and one-on-one interaction with customers. In addition to providing world-class service to customers, the Floral Designer is responsible for the creation and production of effective displays and for maintaining the floral counter area.
This position is either FT or PT depending on the floral sales volume at each location.

Especially interested in people who can work nights and week-ends. High school education or equivalent in order to read and write and perform basic math functions. Prior experience needed in areas of floral design, and working with silk and dried flowers preferred. Must have knowledge of basic design rules and color coordination. Strong communication skills, Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with customers, sales associates and store management. Must be approachable and able to express ideas clearly. Must have strong organizational skills.
