Facility Technician
DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Facility Engineer
Nature of the Position:
Assist Facility Manager / Engineer to executive maintenance plan and all necessary works. Responsible for execution of all FM relative activities within the premises
To manage Heat Ventilation & Air Conditioning; Builders Work; Electricity; Audio Visual & Extra Low Voltage; Plumbing & Draining
Essential Tasks:
Oversee / manage daily operation and preventive maintenance of all maintenance, refurbishment, improvement works for both builders and E&M works
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and monitor maintenance of existing buildings/premises and provide recommendation for improvement
Coordinate with vendors to ensure that all builders works / E&M / A&A works facilities are maintained
Follow up department head’s instruction for any projects / maintenance relative issues
Provide professional support and technical advice to the team for any potential and/or assigned projects
Execution of the preventative maintenance programs

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Project Management / Certificate in Construction and/or BS Engineering relative discipline
Work Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in FM firm, fresh graduate will be considered
Experience in shift duties roles will be higher preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good interpersonal and Communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures
Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written
Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need
Must be able to work independently or with a team
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy procedure manuals, and other related documents. Able to communicate effectively in English (Written/Spoken).
