1st Shift - Shipping & Receiving / Temp-To-Hire in Penn Yan, NY - Full-time / Part-time

Job DescriptionKelly Services has an opening for a Shipper/Receiver with a manufacturer that is a leading supplier of technology-based functional coatings and color solutions. This will start as a temp position, but will migrate into a temp-to-hire position for the right candidate. - Monday through Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM @ $12.00/hourResponsibilities Related to the Job: - Ensure compliance with all safety rules and use of proper PPE. - Verify finished products in the bullpens and relocate the materials to designated areas within all warehouses. - Stage finished goods for shipment to our customers in a timely, clean, and accurate fashion. - Load finished goods onto trucks, per driver-s recommendations for load distribution. When applicable, secure the loads to help prevent movement of goods during transit. - Unload and receive into SAP raw materials, and packaging, in a timely and accurate manner. - Assist other departments during requests for re-labeling, movement of goods for re-packaging, and/or for R&D purposes. - Assist with cycle counts, when requested. - Assist with annual inventory audits. - Maintain mindset of continuous improvement. Always be observant of opportunities to improve current practices, and or procedures. - Maintain the warehouses in a safe, clean, and orderly manner. RequirementsQualifications: - Must have strong computer skills.
