Responsibilities:
The HVAC Facilities Technician is a full time, salaried position for someone with extensive knowledge and experience with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. EPA Certification is a plus. The technician's territory will be based in Atlanta and will frequently travel to all stores recognized as part of the metroplex. The technician must be able and willing to travel all weekdays (home on the weekends), and be on the road up to 80% the time.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment as coordinated and directed by Facilities Managers.
- Perform preventative maintenance programs.
- Must have basic knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attendance is critical: must be on site and on time daily, work effectively, quickly, and independently without on-site supervision.
- Must be hands on, energetic, organized, and self-motivated
Physical demands:
- Ability to access all areas of the building (ascending and descending stairs, rooftop, etc)
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outside on the ground and on roof tops in high heat and low cold temperatures as needed
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- 25 years of age or more
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge and experience with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
- Access to reliable transportation to reach locations
- Ability to independently lift 50 lbs. and team lift up to 100 lbs. with proper safety equipment
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- Current valid driver's license and a clear driving record (no convictions in the last 3 years of: DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and no more than 2 moving violations/accidents)
