Are you looking for a light industrial / assembly / machine operator job in the Roanoke, VA area? AtWork Personnel is currently assisting local Roanoke, VA clients to fill their open production / manufacturing positions! These are temp-to-hire positions and could be the start of your career! We are looking for goal oriented and self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and advance within a company.
Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to walk and stand for long hours.
- May also be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Solid work history in either manufacturing/production or warehouse experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company associates
- Attention to detail
- Must be comfortable with overtime
- Ability to manually lift, push or pull objects weight up to 30 pounds.
- Possesses good manual dexterity.
- Ability to understand and follow specific oral instructions.
- Ability to reach and stretch to grasp objects.
- Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures.
- Associates in the production pool will maintain machinery
- Responsible for logging production information and meeting production expectations
- Completing all necessary quality inspections for their department
