We are looking for a qualified candidate to become our Recruitment & Retention Coordinator.  This key player is expected to recruit, screen, hire, train, and engage a staff of CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients.  We are looking for someone who delivers results, assuming personal responsibility and working effectively with little direction.  The candidate will build and maintain a cooperative work relationship with others, communicating clearly and influencing others to always deliver their best.


Responsibilities
  • Recruit CAREGivers to meet the needs of the business.
  • Schedule & conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Following Home Instead Senior Care standards, conduct reference checks, criminal background & motor vehicle check, and drug screens on CAREGivers.
  • Schedule & conduct orientations, and additional trainings throughout the year.
  • Maintain all employment/personnel records as required for compliance, ensuring confidentiality. 
  • Develop & implement engagement strategies to promote CAREGiver retention & satisfaction.
  • Write, schedule & conduct CAREGiver annual reviews and all supervision including performance conversations, accountabilities, & problem resolutions.
  • Work in partnership with the schedulers to coordinate CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches with clients.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client/CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Assist with the monthly newsletter.
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities one night a week minimum and rotating holidays
  • Perform any and all other functions deemed necessary for the success of the company.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with recruitment & hiring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to have on-call phone responsibilities a minimum of one night per week
  • Full-time availability, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM (1/2 hour lunch)
  • Salary commensurate with experience
