The Gideon Putnam is an historic destination located within Saratoga Spa State Park. Delaware North manages the resort and dining services, as well as the famous Roosevelt Baths and Spa. The resort boasts 124 rooms, all with views of the park, as well as 12,000 square feet of event space and an on-site restaurant, Putnam's.

This upstate New York destination combines more than 75 years of character with exceptional service and modern facilities. We are looking to enhance our staff in Putnam's Restaurant kitchen with an additional Dishwasher.

 

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware, and other kitchen items
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and adheres to Department of Health regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of all kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of floors, mats and related kitchen areas
• Responsible for proper use of supplies and equipment
• Assist with other kitchen/utility personnel as needed

Qualifications

• Able to attend work reliably
• Proven ability to multi-task and take direction

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds with frequency
• Able to work longer than 8 hours when necessary
