Aerotek is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Associate for a Distribution company in New Castle, DE. Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of experience working in a Warehouse or Distribution environment.
This is a 6 month contract position offering a competitive pay rate and 10-15 hours of overtime per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Reading customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sorting items on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves.
- Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 1 year of Warehouse or Distribution experience
- Must be able to work 10+ hours of OT per week
- Must be reliable
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Experience in Shipping, Receiving, Inventory is a plus
SHIFT:
9AM-6PM
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME (10+ HOURS WEEKLY)
