Aerotek is currently seeking 18-20 Electrical Apprentices and Electricians for 6 month long solar project in Hawthorne, Florida. Competitive PAY!!

IMMEDIATE JOB OPPORTUNITY: ELECTRICIAN'S AND ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE'S NEEDED FOR PROJECT IN HAWTHORNE, FL.

ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

Electrical Apprentices will be responsible for the following functions: Working side by side on a crew doing whatever is needed to wire up the panels, pulling wire in trenches and to the panels, performing wire management and labeling, assisting with terminating of wiring, reading electrical schematics to understand the wiring schemes, utilizing all safety knowledge to remain safe during work, and doing anything necessary to ensure the panels are wired up and labeled correctly. Candidates must be flexible to work 10-20 hours of OT when it comes time to get the project done Qualifications:

3+ years of electrical apprentice experience 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience

ELECTRICIAN

Electrician will be responsible for the following: Working with apprentices on wiring up the solar panels, providing direction for the laborers who are pulling wires, wire management and connectivity, terminating wires, reading electrical schematics or diagrams to ensure wires are run correctly and terminated to the right source, utilizing VOC and polarity testing on installed systems, and working with anyone on the team to ensure all systems are installed and commissioned correctly. Electricians must be willing to work 50+ hours a week. If there is no rain they will work 10 hour days for five days and as the project progresses it will move to six days.

Qualifications:

5+ year of Journeyman Experience State Certified or NCCER Certified 1+ year of leading apprentices and laborers 2+ years of VOC or Polarity Testing

Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
