Job Description
Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. As the Director of Patient Services you will serve as a key role for the organization by delivering quality care to patients, acting as an educator for the Home Instead team to improve efficiency with regards to patient services and overseeing compliance with NY State Department of Health regulations for a licensed home care agency. Position will be full time, but can be part-time for experienced candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee compliance with all state and federal regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to home health care services.
• Manage and evaluate the health services program to ensure quality of service and maintenance of state and agency policies and procedures.
• Perform consultative/supervisory home visits and assessments.
• Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, physicians, and other health care providers with regards to patient eligibility and suitability for home care services.
• Open new cases/ admission to Home Instead.
Qualifications:
• Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York State with supervisory or management experience in a home health care setting.
• Experience as a registered nurse and experience in home health care.
• Possesses current driver’s license and reliable automobile transportation.
