We have an immediate need for a skilled Electrician with Machinery Control Panel Experience.
Plan layout and assembly per engineering drawing, bill of materials, interconnect and schematics.
Install electrical components in custom machinery and control equipment according to code and specifications.
Cut wire, assemble wire harness and mark wires per drawings.
Soldering and knowledge of military type connectors required.
Assemble NEMA 12 wire way details, bend, assemble and install conduit. Assist and plan wire way layouts.
Follow diagrams or blueprints. Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels. Connect and route power cables to motor controls and other 480 volt components. Must know grounding requirements.
Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
Must be able to interpret electrical build schematics to fabricate and wire electrical control panels and automation equipment.
Must be able to interpret input/output drawings, interconnect CNC and PLC circuits. Ladder Logic knowledge a plus.
Experience with panel assembly, component lay out, electrical enclosures required.
Experience with low and high voltage assemblies required: 24 volt to 480 volt and 175,000 volt high voltage power supplies.
Work with minimal supervision.
Hours are M-F , 7:00am -- 3:30pm
Overtime is available and will be required when production demands it.
Minimum Associates Degree with several years' work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
