Lab Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Aerotek is currently recruiting for several entry level candidates that have a BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry. We have several clients that are willing to train the right candidates that are looking to get some industry experience in an Environmental Testing or R&D Paint Lab.

R&D Lab Technician:

• This is a great way to get hands on experience and get your foot into Research & Development:
• The technician will conduct established testing procedures on paint and stain products
• Perform quality checks on bulk liquid raw materials
• Maintain adequate records and information on products and raw materials.
• Candidates should have a BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology with Chemistry minor or related science.

Chemistry Lab Technician:

• Preference for candidates that have taken chemistry courses or an AS degree. No degree required for this position.
• Technicians will perform routine lab maintenance duties including but not limited to sample preparation, preparing instruments, assisting Sr. Chemists or Scientists with various testing.
• May be trained to work their way toward bench chemistry and instrumentation.
• Candidates for this position will need abilities to work well under deadlines with accuracy, be detailed oriented, multi-task, work autonomously, be flexible, be punctual, and be responsible, use common sense.
