General Winery Worker (15) - Full-time / Part-time

Assists in all phases of winemaking processes as well as care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities.

- Must be able to Read and Understand Work Orders.
- Must be able to Gauge Tanks Accurately.
- Must learn how to Fortify New Wines.
- Must understand and obey all Safety and Work Rules.
- Must be neat and Clean in Appearance.
- Must learn the following:
a) How to Draw Off Fresh Crush (FC).
b) How to Draw off Wash #1 (W#1).
c) How to Water Back Fresh Crush
d) How to Yeast Tanks.
e) How to Sluice Pomace from Tanks.
f) How to Pump Material to Distilling Material Tanks as per Work Orders.
g) How to Circulate Tanks of Pomace.
h) How to Clean Up and Sanitize Equipment.
i) How to Load Trucks as per Requirements.
j) How to Mix and Sample Tanks
