About this job

Description: Plans, provides, and supervises nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with physician’s orders and established policies and procedures of the nursing department as well as professional standards of nursing, applicable Federal and State laws, state nurse practice guidelines, and regulatory agencies.  Communicates with physicians, co-workers, and other departments as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology, and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  The registered nurse has the authority and responsibility to intervene in crises, initiate emergency measures, and direct the activities of other nursing personnel in accordance with North Dakota Board of Nursing regulations, as these activities relate to patient care.  Cares for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric.Qualification: Certifications
Must have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Dakota.  ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.  Basic Life Support Certification.
