Rough and Finish Carpenter Openings!!!

Job Description:

This person will be a rough carpenter for a very reputable company in the Green Bay area. They will be working exclusively on framing, and general labor duties for a commercial and Agricultural construction project. They will be required to use all types of hand tools on a daily basis as well. They will be using power drills, tape measures, as well as hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws to cut the materials prior to framing.

Work Environment:

• The current position that they have is located in Green Bay and Appleton. They are also having projects going on across the state where they can use additional rough carpenters once this project is completed if they are willing to travel. They will have other projects within the area as well.
• This company typically runs in 5-6 person crews for each skill set(Rough and Finish). They will report to a Site Manager that works closely with all aspects of the project. More times than not the Site Manager is hands on helping finish the work as well.
• They will be working on a construction site, so it could loud at times as their will be power tools used on the site.

Qualifications:

Must:

• 6+ months of experience doing framing of new construction.
• 6+ months of power tool usage(i.e-Power Drills, Reciprocating Saws, Nail Guns, etc.)
• 6+ months of demolition work on a construction site

Plus:

• 6+ months of concrete experience(They may help out with the pouring of sidewalks from time to time.)
• Any finish carpentry work would be a huge plus as it would make them more versatile for the Site Manager

Additional:

• Someone that has done demolition work would be a good fit as they are not afraid to get their hands dirty.
• Someone who has done some welding, or steel stud framing would also be a good fit as they would have a good understanding of what is going on at all times on site.
• Someone who worked in Landscaping, or as a Farm hand would be a great fit based on their ability to work outside, as well as working hard, physical jobs.
