About this job
We are working with a plastics manufacturing facility. Our candidate will be working as a Maintenance Mechanic. He/She will be responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule as well as troubleshooting machines and equipment. Candidates will be working with a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment from hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, air systems, chillers, conveyors, fork lifts, robotics, etc.
The actual production department is a more narrow space compared to the rest of the facility with the machines placed side by side. The machines are large industrial machines that are running pretty much at all times. There is between 15-30 employees working at all time. There will be a uniform provided to wear to work. Non-climate controlled.
REQUIREMENTS:
--2-5 years of experience in an industrial plant
--Strong mechanical and electrical background
--Experience working with industrial equipment such as hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, air systems, chillers, pumps, conveyors, fork lifts, robotics, etc
--Experience with PMs as well as troubleshooting equipment
--PLC and electrical background
--Safety and team oriented
--Strong attention to detail
--Strong communication skills
--High School diploma or GED
PREFERENCES:
--Background in an injection molding facility
--Trade school degree
--Experience programming robotics, and other such equipment
