La Petite Academy in Albuquerque is looking for a childcare cook for our center located on 12215 Towner NE
Looking for a high energy, organized, clean as you go person who is able to provide quality food to our children and is able to maintain an organized, clean kitchen. Ability to lift 50 pounds a must in order to put away the weekly food order. Must be able to maintain CACFP paperwork and inventory stock to put in a weekly food order with little waste.
Our Food Specialists:
- Create home-style, nutritional meal plans in the boundaries of their school's budget, as well as state and federal requirements.
- Prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals and snacks for children and staff.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed.
- Have countless advancement opportunities through our on-going training and expansive network of centers and brands.
- Are rewarded with hugs from children and praise from parents every day!
- Are caring, compassionate and love what they do!
We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:
- Food preparation preferred, not required. CACFP experience a plus.
- An understanding of all current state and local regulations
- Willingness to get CDA a plus to work in classrooms as needed.
- Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
