POSITION PURPOSE
The Supply Chain Asset Protection Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Asset Protection and Safety programs within The Home Depot Supply Chains are fully implemented within a single facility.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • 25% Initiate investigation (internal and/or external) based on a review of the Key Performance Indicators and related scorecard data and other indicators that are present (i.e. AWARELINE tips, open packaging, information passed by other associates, etc.)
  • 15% Conduct monthly audit regimen that provides insight into shrink risk, overall safety compliance and regulatory compliance. The audit process will also highlight operational deficiencies and will lead to the development of a dynamic game plan that will correct or mitigate exposures identified within the scope of the audit.
  • 15% Maintain compliance with all Supply Chain security measures that will include but not be limited to a seal compliance and testing program, maintaining a strong physical security presence, all electronic security systems are in good working order at all times.
  • 10% Conduct safety training and general AP topic related training each month with all associates.
  • 10% Oversee and insure the integrity of the inventory accuracy auditing program within their assigned facility.
  • 15% Complete and participate in all safety incident investigations so as to drive accountability and develop, if needed, new processes that prevent safety incidents from occurring.
  • 10% Act as resource and support the implementation and execution of the DC associate awareness program.

Typically reports to Regional Manager Supply Chain Asset Protection
Responsible for helping others and providing on the job training or guidance

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Supply Chain / Distribution management experience. 
  • Logistics and/or field investigations experience. 
  • 2 or 4 year college degree. 
  • Certified in mobile surveillance techniques. 
  • Experience with development and delivery of AP/Safety training awareness programs. 
  • Experience with CCTV and digital recording devices.
