Aerotek is currently hiring for manual machinist or CNC machinist for Fabritek located here in Winchester!!

Requirements for this position are:

-minimum 3 years+ machinist experience with manual mill experience and lathe experience

-must be able to read and interpret blueprints

-must be able to work overtime as needed

Monday-Friday

1st shift 7am-3pm, overtime as assigned

Pay ranges from $15 to $21 hourly. Positions are long term contracts and benefits are offered!

Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
* Reads and interprets blueprints.
* Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
* Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling
machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches
and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.
* Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics
and composites
* Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting
tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
* Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
* Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and
equipment
* Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend change or modifications for
efficiency and adaptability to setup and production
* Ability to track parts and jobs into the vantage system.
* Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
* Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
*Setup, setting parameters on cutting tools, selecting work holding devices, reading and programming in G code, inspecting parts in process and at completion
*Work with programmers to determine the best methods of machining
*Ability to read engineering drawings, strong math skills, computer literacy
*Mechanical knowledge, material handling, cutting, and machining
*Ability to operate a truck, forklift, jib, gantry and overhead cranes
*Capable of lifting light to heavy loads, pushing and pulling carts
*Must own entry level machinist tools
