Our client a leader in Aviation has a large operation with a newly remodeled, climate controlled facility where you can grow your skills and experience & be an integral part of a winning team. Located at Bradley International Airport, offers a great place to learn from the best in business aviation.

Established in February, 1981 as a 70,000 sq ft facility with a staff of 16, the facility now boasts 198,000 sq ft and over 235 dedicated employees. It is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, including interior modifications, avionics installations, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft. The Service Center has received certifications from FAA, EASA, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands and Mexico. The facility has received 16 consecutive FAA Diamond Awards and is actively involved in the Hartford community, spearheading programs to create awareness about aviation maintenance among local students and to help close the gender gap in the industry.

Starting compensation of $23.00- $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications and Prerequisites:

  • 0-2 years experience
  • A&P Certificate
  • Troubleshoots, repairs, inspect, performs maintenance on Customer Aircraft

A&P Tech will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of corporate aircraft.

This is a service center environment with 2 primary shifts and a weekend shift. Anything and everything on the wing is handled in house and mechanics are responsible for all work related to heavy checks, service bulletins, supplemental type certificates and airworthiness directives.

Candidates will also be expected to perform scheduled and drop in maintenance under tight deadlines. The service center also is responsible for all AOG maintenance in the northeast. Those with high levels of EXP will be put into the CRT programs and do more AOG work
