Quality Assurance Technician

Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p

Main Job Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

Monitor production of products to ensure that finished products reflect the actual Bill of Material for liquid and packaging, to sample incoming raw materials and packaging, and to regularly resample inventoried raw materials and finished liquids.

*Performs daily line checks on: liquids, check for correct labeling, bottle codes, sealed caps, case codes, cartons, liquid and liquid lot number against team leader's Bill of Material.
*Maintain all necessary documentation
*Gather finished liquid samples for testing and evaluation.
*Sample incoming raw materials, attach appropriate labels on containers, bring samples to the labs, and enter material into a Raw Material Log.
*Sample packaging materials
*Monitor product approval logs and apply approval stickers
*Brings pre-shipment samples to designated person in QA.
*Take samples to the lab and documents to Shipping area
*Performs sanitation duties
*Maintain the Occurrence log

Qualification

*QA/QC experience
*Documentation experience
* Food handling, food safety or manufacturing experience (pharma, food, restaurant, etc.)
*Ability to work in a team as well as independently
*Detail oriented, analytic, organized and able to work in a laboratory setting.
*Good at preparing reports and keep excellent records.
*Basic computer skills
*Works well with others
