Aerotek Architecture is currently seeking a Staff Architect for a permanent position with our client, an Award Winning National Architecture, Engineering, and Master Planning firm with a 60 person office in Alexandria, Virginia. The Staff Architect will be working as an architectural designer on project in the Higher Education, Performing Arts, and/or Healthcare Markets. The Staff Architect will be working closely with design principal, lead architect, and team leader on all phases of the design process and must have past experience with production of Construction Document sets for large commercial projects. The responsibilities for the position of Staff Architect include but are not limited to:
30% review drawings, documents, and submittals for document compliance and code review
40% design and produce technical drawings and construction documents
30% communicating and working with other team members to complete projects
The successful candidate for the position of Staff Architect will have:
-2-8 years of Commercial or Government Architecture experience
-Revit proficient with portfolio to demonstrate Revit work
-Bachelors of Architecture
