Shop Supervisor – Direct Hire

Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Shop Supervisor for an Eastside Manufacturing. This person would be responsible managing the production of multiple projects by ensuring our shop is well organized and efficient by maintaining inventory, leading a team of up to 15 employees, verifying timelines with the sales department, creating parts and material lists, and ensuring all aspects of production are running together with the same focus. This opportunity is a Direct Hire with salary ranging $19-24/hr.

Shop Supervisor Requirements:

• No less than three (3) years in the in a managerial role, with some understanding of cabinetry production.
• Need to be highly organized with a focus on forward-planning and problem solving.
• Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize both the managerial workload as well as the team.
• Thorough understanding of production drawings and the ability to ensure all cabinets are manufactured to the proper specs.
• Ability to set production minimums and goals, for individuals as well as the team as a whole, to ensure the project is completed by its deadline.
• Strong and thorough communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with others. Ability to represent the company successfully and clearly to the public.
• Keeping the team motivated respectfully and diplomatically.

• Valid driving license

Location: Indianapolis, IN East

Position Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $19-24 an hour

Schedule: 7:00am – 4:30pm
