We are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to manage and run a new Balsam Hill Showroom at the Garden State Plaza. As the Store Manager, you will oversee a team of Sales Associates and Assistant Managers to create a positive work environment that ensures customer satisfaction, maximizes productivity, and drives sales. This position has a starting compensation of $15.00 per hour and is located at Garden State Plaza - 1 Garden State Plaza, Paramus, New Jersey 07652

As a part of the Balsam Hill and Headway team, you will….

• Lead overall store operations and profitability with responsibility for achieving sales and operating targets
• Hire, develop, and inspire a top-performing store team of Sales Associates and Assistant Managers who drive the business and exceed customer expectations; hold team accountable for upholding brand values, standards and policies
• Model exemplary service to colleagues and customers
• Champion company initiatives, ensuring timely execution of retail strategy and action plans, including implementing merchandising plans and displaying promotional signage and materials
• Build positive working relationships with store team and other Balsam Hill team members to clarify priorities, share business insights and best practices
• Communicate openly to create an environment where all team members are treated fairly and with dignity and respect
• Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met including; workplace safety, risk management, merchandise management, and loss prevention

What We Need from You

• Minimum of Associate degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience managing retail store operations with a proven retail sales record
• Honest, enthusiastic, and hard-working; not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
• Strong communication, customer service, and merchandising skills
• Ability to create a team-based work environment where everyone wants to do their best
• Passion for exemplary service, extreme attention to detail

• Bonus: Availability 1-2 weekend days in November and December.
