Repairs & Maintenance Technician - Full-time

We are seeking highly technical Repairs & Maintenance Technician to work in Rochester NY. The R&M Technician will be responsible for the creation, development and execution of facility preventative maintenance schedules ensuring that all equipment and infrastructure is kept at the highest standard of efficiency, performs emergency repairs, and collaborates with the Facility Manager to design and implement strategies and technologies to increase efficiency while managing cost reduction methods. Maintains HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems, electrical/transformers, R/O, D/O, irrigation and plumbing, grow lighting, and extraction, manufacturing and laboratory testing equipment. Using the Maintenance Connection platform, the R&M Technician manages all maintenance and repairs schedules, budgets, and reporting. Oversees Health & Safety standards within the Cultivation Center to minimize injury and maximize safety.

Candidate must posses a Bachelor’s degree and five to seven years experience in facilities management. Commercial agriculture or manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Experience and background must include electrical/HVAC, construction methods and materials, and project management. Candidate must be resourceful and act with a sense of urgency, possess excellent customer service skills, communication and presentation skills, be highly organized and detail minded. Advanced computer skills in Microsoft to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
