Store Manager Job Description:
PEOPLE:
-Participate in employee selection
-Initial interviews
-New hire paperwork
-Schedule for Orientation
-Inform HR of any changes in employment of staff
-Issue all new employees POS and Hotschedule logins
-Employee Development
-Training employees on burger. POS system
-Training employees on counter station food prep
-Implement "steps of service"
-Issue warnings for employees that have policy infractions, inform RM
-Periodically review policies with employees when needed
-Participate in employee performance reviews
-Develop quarterly all staff meetings with Regional Manager
-Employee training development
-Monitoring employee certificates for food and alcohol
-Keep Manager's certificates up to date
-Employee safety training and implementation
-Obtain manager harassment certification
-Manage Staff Levels
-Scheduling
-Implement FOH staff according to budget based on projected sales
-Post schedule Thursday for following week
-Inform Regional Manager and HR when employees give notice or reduce availability
-Manage Hotschedules, templates and employee profiles
-Manage POS Employee profiles
-Employee Accountability
-Time clock maintenance
-General Policies, dress, cell phones/etc...
-Labor
-Schedule/staff more efficiently. Use hours wisely and only when needed
-100% Break Compliance


PRODUCT:
-Menu development/specials creation
-Inventory Management for all non-food items With the help of Lead Bartender
-Wine
-Beer
-Liquor
-Product ordering/purchasing for above
-General food safety/sanitation
-Product quality/freshness

PROFIT:
-Daily cash reconciliation
-Maintain and manage pricing in POS system
-Review COGS with RM and adjust as needed
-Food cost control
-Bar cost control
-Review Weekly/Monthly Reporting
-Review Labor with RM and adjust as needed
-Forecasting templates
-Monitoring labor hours
-Review Weekly/Monthly Reporting
PROPERTY:
-Manage restaurant ambiance
-Lighting
-Music
-TV use
-Weekly site inspections
-Inform RM and Owner with issues
-Manage and use on-site budget for R and M
-Restaurant cleanliness
-Develop and manage systems for
-Shift, Week and Monthly Cleaning checklists
-20 minute restroom checks
-Backbars - work with Lead Bartender
-Parking lots/Ashtrays
-Condiment Stations
-Patios
-Table set up
-Sani-buckets...changed every 2 hours
-Manage scheduled equipment maintenance
-Manage Refuge/Recycling/Tallow bins
-IT-POS trouble shoot/vendor calls
-Manage site energy usage
PROMOTIONS:
-Coordinate with Ownership/DO/Marketing w/promotional opportunities
-Monitor social media/reviews
-Daily facebook posts/5 a week
-Improve store Yelp Rating
-Improve Google Ratings
-Weekly Yelp/Google review average of 4.0 Stars
-Event sales and contracting
-Coordinate all promotional events
-Work with Lead Bartender on Beer and Bar events (one a month)
-Fundraisers
-Catering
-Holiday Decorating
-Off-site participation such as Taste of SC
