Certified Home Health Aide

Home Instead Senior Care has  immediate openings for  CHHAs (Certified Home Health Aides) with dementia / Alzheimer's experience to work with  female clients in the Red Bank and Bayshore area of  in Monmouth County.  Both cases are steady daytime hours with clients requiring minimal personal care. No weekend or evening shifts required. Apply only if you have a NJ CHHA license and a clean driving record. 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Dementia / Alzheimer's care
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation to appointments
• Stand-by assistance for bathing

*Qualified candidates must have a HHA certification that is in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing*

Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Must have a current physical (within the past calendar year)
• One step PPD. If ou have had a positive PPD - we need a current chest x-ray from your doctor with the results and it must state that you had the chest x-ray done due to a positive PPD. The chest x-ray must be within the calendar year.
•  MMR Vaccination OR Rubella and Rubeola titers.
• Compensation based on level of  Alzheimer's experience
