Picker Packer

Avon, Ohio company has an opening for a Warehouse Picker/Packer.

         $11.00/hour

         10:30am 7:00pm with one 30 minute break

         Temp-to-Hire potential

 

Duties include (Picker):

         Pull orders from the printer.

         Organize the orders by aisle location, to minimize your walking pattern (Excellent organizational skills needed)

         Accurately scan product out of location using a RF Scanner

         Check product being picked against sales order to avoid pick errors (Accountability and performance are measured by accuracy in filling orders)

         Notify a team leader of orders with discrepancies or problems prior to filling orders

         Place picked orders on the conveyor for forwarding to the packing stations

 

Duties include (Packer):

         Checks product pulled against sales order

         Scans sales order, part number, serial numbers and verify quantity

         Packs product to meet shipping requirements

         Place packed orders open conveyor line

         Repeat process

         Clean general work area to ensure safety

         Assist with loading truck when needed

         Pack an Average of 200 packages per day

 

Requirements include:

         Reliable transportation

         Experience in loading and unloading trucks for shipping and receiving

         Must be able to stand, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs

         Able to walk approximately 7+ miles a day

         Must be reliable and possess a strong work ethic

         Works well under pressure

         2+ previous warehouse experience preferred

         RF Scanner experience preferred

         High school diploma

         Pre-screen testing required
